IBM Shipping Blockchain Grows with Two More Carriers on Board

Announced today, IBM’s shipping blockchain, TradeLens, has signed up two more major shipping carriers. The tech giant owns the platform with container giant Maersk. IBM Shipping Blockchain Now, the company has added Hapag-Lloyd and Singapore-based Ocean Network Express (ONE) to the network. IBM Hints at Entering the Stablecoin Arena

Jesse Lund, head of blockchain solutions at IBM, has just hinted that the tech company has plans to explore stablecoins in an interview with Cheddar yesterday. Lund did not disclose when this venture may debut but said it would be on its World-Wire platform.
